2018 NorCal Level 4 and 5 State Championships

The Novato Gymnastics Team completed the season at the 2018 NorCal Level 4 and 5 State Championships on November 17-18 in Visalia. 
Level 4

Katie Shepardson, Brigitte Islas, Francesca Kaszuba, Victoria Peraza, Addie Wardlaw, and Ada Louderback competed at the Level 4 State Championships on November 17-18 in Visalia.  Tina Strack, who also qualified, was unable to compete due to injury. 
Addie added to her list of State Championship titles as she won the Bars (9.625), Beam (9.425), and All Around (37.350) in the Senior G Division.  She also placed 3rd on Floor (9.300) and 4th on Vault (9.000).  Addie won the Level 3 All Around, Bars, Beam, and Floor titles in 2017.

In her best meet of the season, Victoria won the Vault with 9.400, took 2nd on Floor with 9.325, and 2nd in the All Around with 36.925. 

Katie scored 35.925 in the Senior K All Around, good for 5th place.  She also placed 5th on Floor with 9.175, and 6th on Vault, Bars, and Beam.  Brigitte scored 9.000 on Beam for 4th place. 

Francesca placed 4th on Beam with 8.975 and 6th on Floor with 9.100, while placing 10th All Around with 35.425 in the Senior F Division. 

Ada took 3rd on Floor (9.400), 3rd on Beam (9.250) and 5th All Around (36.475), in the Junior F Division. 

Level 5

Marissa Guempel, Charlotte Marsh, Koto Takeda, and Mia Roe competed at the Level 5 State Championships in Visalia on November 17-18.

Mia placed 2nd on Bars with 9.100, 4th on Vault with 9.300, and 6th All Around with 35.550 in the Senior B Division. 

In the Senior F Division, Marissa placed 8th on Bars with 8.200.  Charlotte placed 2nd on Floor with 9.200, and 5th on Vault with 9.175.  Koto placed 3rd on Vault with 9.425, and 4th on Bars with 8.975. 

Congratulations to all our gymnasts!  Way to go, Novato!
